8 months

Yes, I finally got her in her rocking chair for a picture.  She didn't sit still long but she let me take a couple of pictures!!  Then she started kicking the blocks and picking them up and trying to bit them. :)
But she was having a good oh time.

She said "bye bye" last night.  She has said 'hey' and 'da da' but she is really saying bye bye and trying to wave her hand.  She is wanting to walk so bad.  She is really enjoying playing with her toys and her stand up tables.
For lunch yesterday at the day care she had big girl food for the first time at day care.  I think it was shepherds pie/carrots and apple sause.  :)

Brian found this slide in the garbage at a families house and he went and knocked on the door and asked if they were throwing it away and they said yes.  So we went and picked it up. And Jamie LOVED IT!!! She wanted to slide over and over..

Book Review #2 -"Life, Love and a Polar Bear Tattoo"

Second book I have read on my wonderful Kindle.
I read this book because it was free book off Amazon :)
Wasn't expecting much since it was FREE but turned out to be very good.

Good book.  Easy Read.  Keep me entertained and wanting to read more.

Heather Wardell did a good job describing the characters.
Candice is a wife, and designer and a polar bear fanatic.  Her husband Ian, parents died in a car accident getting Candice a Christmas present.  Their relationship is in trouble. Ian decided to go overseas for work and he is gone for a month.  During that time Candice is reunited with an old love.  Several things occur to make Candice question her and Ian's marriage.  But Ian wasn't innocent either.  Candice has to choice between Ian and her old love that she never got over.

I have to say the middle was a little boring but it picked up towards the end.  When Candice made her decision I was yelling at the book.  Wondering who she picked

First Book Review

To me this author is amazing.   I have read almost all of his books.  When he writes about the characters it makes you feel like they are your best friend or your brother or sister.   What I think about this book:Again I can't ever say anything bad about Nicholas Sparks.  I couldn't put it down I just wanted to keep learning about Dawson and Amanda.  Dawson's life made me sad.  He had a terrible father never knew his mother and only loved and cared about one person in his whole life.  Lived alone and had a very dangerous job.  Amanda's life was better but to me also sad that her parents wouldn't let her live the life she wanted to live.  Her mother is very controlling.  I wish they could have ended up together and shared their lives with one another but at least Amanda got the best of Dawson in the end.   I would recommend this book to anyone that loves love stories and like to cry just a little bit when reading.  Easy read and a quick read.
Can't wait for the next Nicholas Sparks book.
Thanks "Book Hooked" for suggestion I review a book.
My goal this year is to read more books and review them.Right now I am reading "Life, Love and a Polar Bear Tattoo"

New Year 2012

Can't believe its 2012.

Its amazing how life just goes by so fast.  When you are a kid you think the years go by SO SLOW and that your birthday or Christmas will never get here.  Now the days/weeks/months/years just fly by.

Well Jamie will be 8 months on the 12th of this month.
She is doing and learning so many things.
-holding her own bottle
-trying to feed herself with her spoon
-plays with her toys a lot and learning how everything works
-teething bad
-wants our food and gets mad when we get if she isn't eating
-she can almost get up on her knees
-learning to give 'love' hugs no kisses yet :)
-wants to WALK bad
-smiles all the time

For New Years Brian surprised me with a hotel room down at the Atlanta Airport.  We went down there on Saturday afternoon and got a great room with a balcony.  We opened the curtains and there was the runway.  We watched planes land and take off for hours.  Around 9pm a 747 (huge plane) landed it was from Korea.  We keep waiting for it to take off and when we woke up the next morning it was gone.  We had cable in the room which is weird for us to watch TV since we don't have it at our house.  We got to watch the Ball and the Peach drop.  It was good times.  I would love to make it a tradition.

I don't have any pictures yet of Christmas or New Years but I will attach as soon as Brian sends them to me.
